This year, Ruddy Nonone, Chef of Le D\u00f4me restaurant at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.karibea.com\/en\/hotel\/karibea-valmeniere-hotel\/\">Karibea Valmeni\u00e8re H\u00f4tel<\/a>, is taking part in the adventure, bringing the expertise of our teams beyond the shores of Martinique.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Held under the theme <strong>\u201cThe Taste of Sharing,\u201d<\/strong> this year\u2019s edition particularly reflects the values of knowledge-sharing, connection and conviviality that inspire the Chef\u2019s cuisine and the entire Le D\u00f4me team.<\/p>\n<h2>From Martinique to Montreal: Cuisine Made to Be Shared<\/h2>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Throughout the culinary festival, Ruddy Nonone will take part in several key events in Montreal dedicated to discovering and sharing Martinican cuisine.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">His programme will include meeting the teams at the Institut de tourisme et d\u2019h\u00f4tellerie du Qu\u00e9bec (ITHQ) and working alongside its students.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">It will be a special opportunity to share techniques, inspiration and expertise, while introducing a new generation of hospitality professionals to a vibrant, generous and creative approach to Martinican cuisine.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">This experience perfectly embodies the spirit of the Martinique Gourmande Festival: building connections through food and turning our island\u2019s culinary heritage into a true platform for exchange.<\/p>\n<h2>Le D\u00f4me Restaurant at Montreal\u2019s March\u00e9 Cr\u00e9ole<\/h2>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">On Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13, Ruddy Nonone will also take part in the March\u00e9 Cr\u00e9ole, one of the highlights of this 19th edition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The programme will include culinary preparations, making accras batter, creating and preparing recipes, as well as tastings and conversations with visitors.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">It is a wonderful opportunity to bring the flavours of Martinique to Montreal and introduce Canadian visitors to some of the defining elements of our culinary identity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Behind every dish is also an opportunity to tell the story of a destination \u2014 its ingredients, traditions and the creativity of the people who bring its cuisine to life.<\/p>\n<h2>Karibea\u2019s Expertise Beyond Our Hotels<\/h2>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Through Ruddy Nonone\u2019s participation, Le D\u00f4me restaurant and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.karibea.com\/en\/\">Karibea<\/a>\u2019s culinary expertise will also be represented on the international stage.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Located on the top floor of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.karibea.com\/en\/hotel\/karibea-valmeniere-hotel\/\">Karibea Valmeni\u00e8re H\u00f4tel<\/a> in Fort-de-France, Le D\u00f4me offers cuisine inspired by Martinique\u2019s local produce and culinary heritage, while giving creativity and carefully selected ingredients a central place.<\/p>\n<p>The Chef\u2019s presence in Montreal is therefore an opportunity to extend this philosophy beyond the walls of the restaurant: sharing an experience, passing on techniques and helping showcase Martinican cuisine to an international audience.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From September 8 to 19, 2026, as part of a collaboration with the Martinique Tourism Authority, Martinican cuisine takes centre stage in Canada for the 19th edition of the Martinique Gourmande Festival.
