Sales Terms and Conditions

Applicable to Karibea Sainte-Luce, Squash, and Valmenière Hotels

1. Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter referred to as “GTC”) apply to any booking made through the official website of Karibea Hotels and concern the following establishments:

  • Karibea Sainte-Luce Hotel (Sainte-Luce, Martinique)

  • Karibea Squash Hotel (Fort-de-France, Martinique)

  • Karibea Valmenière Hotel (Fort-de-France, Martinique)

They govern the contractual relationship between Karibea Hotels and the customer.

2. Booking
Any booking becomes binding upon written confirmation by the customer (automatically generated confirmation email). The customer agrees to provide accurate information when making a reservation.
Specific conditions related to each rate (cancellation, prepayment, minimum stay, etc.) are clearly stated in the booking engine and will take precedence over these GTC in case of any discrepancy.

3. Prices
Prices are indicated in euros (€), all taxes included (VAT), excluding the tourist tax. This tax, set by local authorities, must be paid on site, according to the rate in effect at the time of the stay.
Prices are subject to change at any time, but the confirmed rate at the time of booking will not be retroactively modified.

4. Payment Methods
The hotels accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)

  • Cash (within legal limits)

  • ANCV holiday vouchers (only on site, unless otherwise specified)

  • Secure online payment via our booking platform

Some rates require full or partial advance payment (refundable or non-refundable). In such cases, the conditions will be clearly specified before confirming the booking.

5. Cancellation and Modification Policies
Conditions vary depending on the chosen rate and are displayed at the time of booking.
Examples:

  • Flexible rate: free cancellation up to 3 days before arrival. In case of late cancellation, the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the full amount of the stay will be charged.

  • Non-refundable rate: the total amount is charged at the time of booking. The stay cannot be modified or refunded.

Requests for changes or cancellations must be submitted in writing or via the link in the confirmation email. No modification is guaranteed after the cancellation deadline.

6. Check-in / Check-out

  • Check-in: from 3:00 PM

  • Check-out: before 11:00 AM

Early check-in or late check-out may be granted depending on availability and at an additional cost. Please contact us in advance.

7. Occupancy and House Rules
The customer agrees to comply with the hotel’s rules, including:

  • Not exceeding the room’s maximum occupancy

  • Not smoking in the rooms (fines apply for non-compliance)

  • Respecting the quiet of the premises, especially at night

Any inappropriate behavior or conduct contrary to the smooth running of the stay may result in immediate eviction without refund.

8. Liability
Karibea Hotels accept no responsibility in case of theft, loss, or damage to personal belongings in rooms or common areas.
Safes are available in some rooms to secure valuables.

9. Personal Data
Personal data collected during the booking process is used solely for managing your stay.
In accordance with applicable regulations (Data Protection Act and GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, oppose, and delete your data. To exercise this right, please contact us at: commercial@karibeahotel.com.

10. Disputes – Governing Law
These GTC are subject to French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought as a priority.
If no satisfactory response is received within 60 days of contacting our customer service (commercial@karibeahotel.com), the customer may refer the matter to the Tourism and Travel Mediator using the following contact details:

Karibea establishments are members of the Tourism and Travel Mediation body through their affiliation with the professional union “UMIH”, as listed on the website www.mtv.travel under the “members” tab.
In accordance with Article L.612-1 of the French Consumer Code, the customer may use this mediation service free of charge.
